Welcome to Gauthier's Saranac lake Inn. If there is anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable, please let our staff know, and we will be happy to accommodate. Enclosed you will find helpful information about our Inn and our policies, as well as recreation suggestions to help make your stay a memorable one.

Locally Green with Envy!
Saranac Lake Inn is working hard to preserve our environment and support local small business. We pride ourselves in our continual effort to operate as a Green Facility. This is apparent in our water conservation standard, our use of local and organic products, our strict NO Pesticide Policy for our grounds and gardens, as well as our change over to non-animal tested and eco-green bath amenities.

Office Hours
As we are a small family run Inn, our office opens at 7am and closes at 11:00pm. We are always available during these hours to assist you. In case of an urgent situation after hours, please call 1800-891-1950. In an effort keep everyone comfortable, we request you have a respectful noise level after 10pm.

Check out
Check out time is 11am. If you need a later check out please speak to our front desk and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Cancellation Policy
Saranac Lake Inn's Cancellation Policy is 72 hours prior to check in day, 3pm. If your reservation is cancelled after the 72 hour mark you will be charged for One Night's Stay. Any reservation 3 or more days is guaranteed with no exceptions. All reservations for 3 or more days will be charged the full amount when making the reservation. You will be sent a email confirmation, and your reply to that email confirmation is acknowledgement of acceptance of these terms. All phone reservations have been made aware of these policies, and have been instructed to visit this page prior to making reservations.This excludes the following dates. The following dates reservations are guaranteed, and those reservations will be charged the full amount when booked.

All Ski Packages are charged in full at the time of reservation

You agree that you will make only legitimate reservations in good faith for use by you, and not for other purposes, including without limitation, reselling, impermissibly assigning or posting on third party websites, or making speculative, false or fraudulent reservations, or any reservation in anticipation of demand. All reservations are final.

By making a reservation with Saranac Lake Inn, and releasing your name, address, telephone number, email address, and credit card information, you are entering into a binding legal agreement to be charged the full amount of your reservation. Releasing your name, address, telephone number, email address, and credit card information is creating a digital signature for that reservation, therefore making the phone or online reservation a legal binding agreement to be charged the full amount of that said reservation.

House Keeping and GREEN Movement
Saranac Lake Inn works to reduce water usage and waste on our precious environment. As part of this our staff will service your room every day between the hours of 9am and 3pm, unless otherwise noted by a Do-Not-Disturb sign. Our Inn policy is to change bed linens every three days and at end of stay. If you would like your bed linens changed sooner please place the card provided on the night stand on your bed. If you would like to re-use your towels please place them on the hook, all towels on the floor will be changed.

Smoking Policy
All of our rooms are NON- SMOKING. If you would like to smoke we ask that you do so outside and dispose of your waste properly. There is a $150 dollar cleaning charge for in room smoking.

Pet Policy
We love pets too. However, we do not offer Pet-Friendly Accommodations.

Gift Certificate Policy
Certificates are valid from date of purchase for one year. They are non-transferable, non-refundable and have no cash value. Cerftificates purchased for specific packages can be used for intended package only including limited to package valid dates and cost. All packages are listed online. Holiday periods and black out dates are decided by Gauthier's Saranac Lake Inn and subject to change without notice.

Even after full payment has been received, we reserve the right to cancel a reservation without notice if we become aware of or are notified of any fraud or illegal activity associated with the payment for any reservation, online reservation or gift certificate.

Charge Policy
Early departure/cancellation: If you depart early or you cancel or fail to honor any reservation for any reason, you will not receive any credit or refund.

Extending your stay: Extensions will require a new reservation for the additional date(s), subject to availability and prevailing rates, and the rate shall not apply.

All reservations made need to have a valid Credit Card at time of reservation. At the time a reservation is made the valid Credit Card presented to Saranac Lake Inn is authorized to be used for the intended reservation, cancellation policy or for any damages accrued at the time of stay. Also any and all incedentials also will be charged to this Credit Card.
